Educational Rights of Children with Disabilities - Bangor
Disability Rights Maine, in partnership with the Office of Child and Family Services, is offering three FREE regional Educational Rights of Children with Disabilities workshops in August 2017. This session will provide an overview of the rights of students with disabilities in schools, provide updates from recent Supreme Court decisions, address hot topics such as disciplinary removals and access to extracurricular activities, and allow for dialogue and discussion on related topics not addressed in the presentation.
Presenter Atlee Reilly manages the education law practice at Disability Rights Maine. He also handles cases related to assistive technology. He received his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, his M.Ed. from Arizona State University, and his B.A. from Bowdoin College.
