Maine Relay Services Overview - Online Presentation

Debra Bare-Rogers, TRS Advocate of Disability Rights Maine will be presenting. She will share how she uses Maine Relay and her experience as a woman with adult on-set hearing loss. Additional hearing loss resources, such as the Telecommunications Equipment Program (TEP) will be shared at this informative presentation.

Maine Relay allows individuals with hearing, vision and/or speech disabilities to access telecommunications services. The relay service allows text-telephone (TTY) or special equipment users (such as captioned telephone, TTY, VCO or HCO) to communicate with standard voice telephone users through specially trained relay operators (captioners). The relay services are no-cost and available 24/7.

Relay Conference Captioning (called RCC) will provide captioning during this presentation.
