Harper Chance

Harper Chance (they/he) joined DRM in 2024 as the Operations Manager.

Harper grew up in Maine and graduated from UMaine Augusta with their B.S. in Information and Library Sciences, after which they spent ten years at the Portland and Lewiston Public Libraries. Harper has experience working with many diverse communities to provide accessibility in library services through materials, technology, programs, outreach, and communication and is excited to bring that experience to DRM.

Harper comes from a personal and family history of disability and believes strongly in the importance of working in partnership with and supporting the agency of people with direct lived experiences of marginalization. Harper lives with his husband, two cats, and dog in the Lewiston-Auburn area.
