Jared Escobar, J.D.

Jared joined Disability Rights Maine in 2021 as an advocate in the DD Advocacy program.

Before joining DRM, Jared graduated from the University of Maine School of Law in 2018. He is also a University of Maine alum, graduating in 2015 with dual degrees in History and English and a minor in Judaic Studies.

Jared does his best to earn his Aroostook County roots by working diligently and with purpose every day. Jared is excited to use his education and skills to aid in DRM’s mission to ensure autonomy, inclusion, equality, and access for his fellow Mainers. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, writing, learning about history/family genealogy, and exploring the state with his wife.
