Jeanette received her law degree from Maine Law, where she was the 2020-2023 Youth Justice Fellow and 2023 recipient of the Civil Rights Law Award. As a student attorney with the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic, she focused on youth justice defense and special education cases. She received her BA from Yale University, and earlier in her career, received an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College, studied directing in Paris, and worked in multinational law firms in New York City. She is a 2018 graduate of Partners in Policymaking, a national leadership training program in disability advocacy. Jeanette is happy to share that her roots in Maine stretch from Aroostook to York Counties.
