Healthcare Solutions from Uganda, East Africa

Join the University of Maine School of Law for the 2026 Justice for Women Lecture featuring Dr. Jane Anyango, a globally recognized leader in nursing education, intimate partner violence, and community health.

Dr. Anyango will share her experience harnessing the power of community to deliver healthcare in under-resourced rural areas. Drawing on over 20 years of experience, she will discuss her work with the Batwa people and the role of community-based nursing in addressing medical and psychosocial needs within rural communities.
