Program Description
Communication is a fundamental right, but some people face barriers to using speech. Some people are non-verbal, and others have health conditions that make speaking difficult.
Join Maine CITE for a webinar on an overview of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). We will explore how these tools support or replace speech. The tools range from simple picture boards to high-tech applications. We will introduce you to our device lending library, AT4Maine, where you can borrow from nearly 100 speech-related items for free.
