If you use captioned telephone services, keep reading!

Did you know that analog Captioned Telephone Service will no longer be available in Maine beginning on December 31, 2026? If you use captioned telephone service over a landline phone connection (no internet), you may be impacted. But don’t worry, callers can still make and receive captioned telephone calls if they move to an internet-connected Captioned Telephone device before December 31, 2026.

Check out this list of providers to help you make the switch to IP CTS.

Why is Analog CTS Going Away?

Analog CTS is phasing out in Maine due to a significant decline in users. Now, most people use IP CTS.
