Disability Awareness Day

January 21 @ 9:00 am - 2:30 pm

Join disability advocates from across Maine for Disability Awareness Day at the State House.

This is an opportunity to educate and inform legislators about issues impacting Mainers with disabilities. Speak with your legislator or observe a session in action. You can also learn more from the organizations that will be tabling in the Hall of Flags.

Accessibility Information:

  • ASL interpreters will be available.
  • DRM provides masks at all agency-sponsored events.
  • DRM plans to livestream a portion of the event on our social media. If you are otherwise interested in participating virtually, please contact jendicott@drme.org.
